The Blue Slipper Theatre continues its tradition of offering the best in community theatre since 1964. Located in the heart of Livingston, Montana’s historic downtown district, they produce three to five full-length productions each season, with a variety of comedic and dramatic theatre, live music performances, and community events. Their mission is to entertain, educate, and enrich our community through the performing arts.

Elk River is an antiquarian bookstore in Livingston, Montana. They specialize in rare and collectible outdoor literature, including Native American and Western history, adventure and exploration, sporting books, natural history, works by the Montana Gang, poetry and literary archives. They also carry a large selection of new and used works by regional authors, children’s books, fiction, books on visual, culinary and literary arts, science, philosophy and more. Elk River Books is a center for Livingston literary life, hosting readings, signings, lectures, music and other performing arts.

Sacajewea Park
Situated along the Yellowstone River in Livingston, Montana, Sacajawea Park offers a large variety of activities, guaranteeing there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Sacajawea Park also provides a wonderful chance to step back into history. Located about half a mile from the probable location of where Clark and his team entered the Yellowstone River on their return journey home, the park offers signage with historical information about the expedition and an opportunity to imagine how much or little the landscape has changed since Clark and his team had visited the area over 200 years ago.
Plenty of amenities are offered including picnic tables with grills, a large playground, tennis courts, a skate park, shaded benches, an outdoor swimming pool, and events like a farmers’ market.

Located in the heart of Livingston, Montana, in the Historic East Side School, the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts is dedicated to fostering creativity, inclusivity, and building community through various arts programming, classes, and events, as well as providing space to many small businesses or nonprofits that further our mission. Formerly the Firehouse Five, the Shane Center opened its doors as a multi-use community arts center in 2013.
